Purim 2020

Join Washington Square Minyan for Purim on March 9th and 10th. See below for all the Purim activities happening in the Minyan. Sign up for all Purim programming here.

March 9th

Children's programing will start at 5:45 pm and Ma'ariv and Megillah reading will start at 7:10 pm in the Chapel at 384 Harvard Street Campus. Babysitting will be available after the end of children's programing. 

March 10th

Shacharit and Megillah reading will be at 7:30am in the Chapel.

Mishloach Manot

Sending Mishloach Manot is a beautiful way to reach out to friends, neighbors, teachers, and newcomers to our community! Sign up below to send a gourmet, handcrafted Mishloach Manot to WSM members- choose one, two, 10, or all member units! This year's Mishloach Manot will feature a unique and tasty theme and proceed benefit Yad Chesed and the Minyan...don't miss out!

Matanot La'evyonim

To participate in the mitzvah of Matanot Lav'evyonim, Washington Square Minyan recommends donating to Yad Chessed. To donate use this link and designate WSM as your synagogue affiliation.

As in years past, you can fulfill the important Purim mitzvah of matanot la’evyonim by donating to Yad Chessed through Washington Square. Last year, over $100,000 was distributed in food certificates to almost 800 families and Washington Square Minyan contributed $7,078.27! Can we do even more for community members in need this year?
