Community email list - This Google Group serves as an open forum for the Washington Square Minyan community to publicize events beyond those sponsored by the minyan. We use it to share events that might be relevant for the community, to offer or request services, and to post relevant articles. This group is moderated.
All food served in public venues (such as our regular meeting space at KI) is certified kosher (“hechshered”). Food served in these public venues is either a) store-bought, or b) prepared by a kosher caterer. For minyan events hosted in community members’ homes, food is made in a kosher kitchen, with certified kosher ingredients, and not cooked on Shabbat.
If you have any questions about this policy, please e-mail email@example.com.
As an organization, we strive to reduce our waste, minimize our environmental impact, and recycle what we can. Please contact us with suggestions on how to further improve in this area!
The heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth God gave over to humans.
