Thank you for becoming a member of the Washington Square Minyan community. Through your participation, volunteerism, and financial support, the Minyan will continue to achieve its mission of creating a community around spirited traditional egalitarian Tefillah. 

Please complete the information below to begin or renew your membership. If you are renewing, please be sure to login to your account before beginning so that your membership information is not duplicated.  Please also be sure to sign-up for our weekly newsletter and google group here (completing your membership does not automatically add you to the listservs).

Once you have completed the profile for any adults in the family, you can verify and add information for any children when logged into the site at  My Account > My Family.

We ask every minyan member to sign up for Toranut (set up/clean up of Kiddush) at least twice per year.

Membership Options for 5786

You will see our new membership structure below and pricing, but if you can contribute more this year, your tax-deductible donation would be greatly appreciated.

We’ve simplified our membership options for 5786 into two categories: Sustaining Members and Community Members.

Sustaining Membership: $2,000 per household
Sustaining Members provide essential support that keeps our minyan running. Your support helps us cover rising rental costs, kiddush, babysitting, and our operations coordinator.
Sustaining membership includes High Holiday babysitting, community lunches, and a contribution to the childcare fund.

Community Membership: $850 per household
Community Members are just as vital to our minyan. We're happy to provide a more financially accessible dues option so everyone can contribute to the community. This level of membership does not include community lunches or High Holiday babysitting.
If you're a Community Member who regularly uses our Shabbat and holiday childcare, we ask that you consider contributing an additional $500 to support the childcare fund.

WSM will always welcome everyone. The donations listed above are suggestions to help us meet our operating budget, but financial means should never be a limitation to joining our community. If the suggested donation is beyond what you can contribute, please give the amount that you are comfortable with, according to your means.
